David Mitchell
ActingDavid James Stuart Mitchell (nacido el 14 de julio de 1974) es un comediante, actor y escritor británico. Mitchell saltó a la fama junto a Robert Webb como parte del dúo cómico Mitchell and Webb. El dúo protagonizó la comedia de Channel 4, Peep Show, donde Mitchell interpreta a Mark Corrigan. Ganó el Premio de la Academia Británica de Televisión a la Mejor Interpretación de Comedia en 2009 por su actuación. Mitchell y Webb han escrito y protagonizado varios programas de sketches, como Bruiser, The Mitchell and Webb Situation, That Mitchell and Webb Sound y That Mitchell and Webb Look. También protagonizaron la versión británica de la campaña publicitaria "Get a Mac" de Apple. Su primera película, Magicians, se estrenó en 2007. Protagonizaron la serie de televisión de corta duración Ambassadors en 2013 y la comedia dramática Back, de Channel 4, de 2017 a 2021. Mitchell interpretó a Owen en la comedia de BBC Radio 4 Think the Unthinkable y a William Shakespeare en la comedia histórica Upstart Crow, de BBC Two. Ha protagonizado la comedia dramática detectivesca Ludwig, de BBC One, desde 2024. Participa con frecuencia en programas de debate británicos, siendo capitán del equipo en Would I Lie to You?, presentador de The Unbelievable Truth en BBC Radio 4 y expresentador de The Bubble y Was It Something I Said?, además de participar como invitado en otros programas de debate como QI, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown y Have I Got News for You.
