Drew Barrymore
ActingDrew Barrymore nace en California (Estados Unidos) el 22 de febrero de 1975. Nieta del famoso John Barrymore y sobrina de los también actores Lionel y Ethel Barrymore, su carrera comienza siendo muy niña. Con apenas un año su madre comienza a llevarla a diversos castings de televisión y con tan sólo dos años obtiene pequeños papeles en las series ‘Suddenly, love’ o Bogie’. Se debut en la gran pantalla llega en 1979 en ‘Un viaje alucinante al fondo de la mente’, filme dirigido por Ken Russell, aunque el éxito llega tres años más tarde, en 1982, gracias a su papel en ‘E.T. El extraterrestre (E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial)’. El gran éxito de la película la convierte en centro de todas las miradas y la enorme presión mediática la conduce al mundo de las drogas y el alcohol con apenas 9 años. Durante esa etapa protagoniza tres películas más –‘Ojos de fuego’, ‘Diferencias irreconciliables’ y ‘Los ojos del gato’- aunque sus problemas continúan y en 1988 es ingresada en un centro especializado en adicciones. Una vez recuperada retoma su carrera y participa en diversos filmes como ‘Cuatro mujeres y un destino’, ‘Batman Forever’, ‘Por siempre jamas’o ‘Nunca me han besado’, esta última de su propia productora, Flower Films, que funda en 2005. En el año 2000 protagoniza ‘Los ángeles de Charlie (Charlie's Angels)’, también de su productora, junto a Cameron Diaz y Lucy Liu. Protagonista de numerosos títulos, su carrera ha estado vinculada a la comedia romántica y en ella destacan títulos como ‘Los chicos de mi vida’, ‘Confesiones de una mente peligrosa’, ’50 primeras citas’ o ‘Qué les pasa a los hombres’; Otros éxitos como "Ya te extraño" y "Santa Clarita Diet"
